What does Residual Voltage Technology (RVT) do?

RVT provides additional safety for home owners, workers and the public. RVT devices are inexpensive and easy to install and work with your existing installations.

For numerous reasons (eg., the increasing use of plastic pipes) the safety of the earth on an electrical circuit can be comprised.  This means increased risk of electric shock and fire.

The weakest part of an electrical circuit is its earthing integrity and hence the most important aspect from an electrical safety perspective.   A ‘good/low impedance earth’ may be compromised by many factors including corrosion, hot joints and aging installations but by far the most variable and overlooked is the ground itself.   The Residual Voltage Technology is designed to accompany any existing electrical devices and provides 'additional layers’ of electrical protection.
